Alchemi Posted July 7, 2014 Share #531 Posted July 7, 2014 Hi Trantor, the changelog of Beta8 says "Add multimedia dvb drivers (include all drivers available in kernel sources as module)". But my TV card does not want to run. It uses ddbridge.ko, but I can't insmod it: insmod: can't insert '/lib/modules/ddbridge.ko': unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter I've done a modinfo under Debian Wheezy: ddbridge depends on dvb-core and i2c-core. But these two modules are not in Beta8`/lib/modules. Next I would like to reduce power consumption of my N54L. In the hope that I can use the firmware files from Wheezy, I need following kernelmodules: radeon, ttm, power-supply and i2c-algo-bit. Can you please add these "missing" modules? Thx in advance Alchemi

CtrlAltDel Posted September 26, 2014 Share #542 Posted September 26, 2014 Please add: Marvell Yukon 88E800It seems to work, but I get a weird IP adress assigned. 169.x.x.x range. Tried trantor and Nanoboot versions Full mobo specs: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813131029 I know it's old.... That looks like a DHCP issue so maybe you could try trouble shooting that first as it may not be a driver related problem. The 169.x.x.x range is an APIPA (Automatic Private IP Addressing) or Link Local address, which is generated by the system when no IP address is provided by a DHCP server. MrX_Cuci Posted September 26, 2014 Share #543 Posted September 26, 2014 Seems highly unlikely, but I could force an IP address using the MAC address of the NIC I suppose. Will try.
MrX_Cuci Posted September 26, 2014 Share #544 Posted September 26, 2014 Well everything seems to work fine with the Tantor release. Synology assistent found the machine eventually at a different IP adres. (after disabeling the firewall) Works only with the latest 4.3 though.
