ekwie Posted December 14, 2016 Share #1 Posted December 14, 2016 Hello dear xpenologysts, i dont really know if this topic is xpenology related or not, but since iam running "my problem" on xpenology i will still ask here. Whats my problem: Iam running OpenHAB2 on my DSM with zwave binding, but the addon says "Serial Error: Port /dev/ttyUSB0 does not exist" What do i use: HP Gen8 with DSM 6.0.2-5 and Juns 1.0.1 Loader + Aeon Labs Z-Stick S2 What did i install: Domesticz, UsbSerialDrivers_bromolow-6.0_3-0.spk, OpenHAB2 2.0.0.008 Snapshot What works: ls /dev/ttyUSB* says: /dev/ttyUSB0 Domesticz recognizes the ZStick and its nodes (acutally just a sensor). I did add the /dev/ttyUSB0 to OpenHab2 configurations as path, getting the error i mentioned above "Serial Error: Port /dev/ttyUSB0 does not exist". I just read a bunch of topics about giving the openhab2 user permission to ttyUSB0, but didnt worked for me (iam really no linux crack ). Could anyone of you wonderfull persons just give me the right direction.. maybe a script with the right commands and where to put it.. thanks me
composer47 Posted December 17, 2016 Share #2 Posted December 17, 2016 I'll probably be in the same boat as you in a few weeks. I'm planning on ordering the zStick after Xmas and get it setup. I'm probably leaving towards using Home Assistant in Docker vs Openhab2. Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk
