Polanskiman Posted October 6, 2022 Share #926 Posted October 6, 2022 Well anyone is free to create a guide or tutorial. The developers develop, the moderators moderate and myself I administer and moderate the forum which is our way to contribute to the XPEnology community. When extra time is available we make additional contributions and create guides, help others etc etc but nothing stops regular members to do the same thing. Many have done so. Remember we are doing this on our free time. 🙂 4

It is another loader for TTG Redpill, intended to be as automatic and user-friendly as possible. The link is below, download the image and record it on a flash drive, the rest is done on the same computer. I'm Brazilian and I'm not good at English language, so forgive me for translation errors. I used forum knowledge and code from various loaders developed by TTG, pocopico, jumkey, Jun and many others. Hope you like it. https://github.com/fbelavenuto/arpl Edit: An important information that I forgot to mention is that I developed a simple patch to no longer display the DUMMY port error on models without device-tree, the user will be able to install without having to worry about it nice ! it is really good! Sylvaind Posted October 7, 2022 Share #931 Posted October 7, 2022 Hi, I tried using the loader for a fresh install in a VM (ESXI 7.0 Update 3), but it won't find any Disk. I used the default values of the loader and tried with different models. I tried with one and two SCSI controllers. Any idea ?

miastek Posted October 8, 2022 Share #939 Posted October 8, 2022 (edited) Good morning, Fellows I'm just starting my adventure with Xpenology. I have an HP T520 rig with a quad-core AMD processor, 16 GB of ram, plugged in an ssd on an m.2 connector and additionally a 2.5" 1TB sata drive via an adapter. I prepared the flash drive by uploading v0.5-alpha1. The computer booted from the pendrive, I performed a step by step through menu.cfg, prepared the image, rebooted the computer and I can't get to its IP after booting. I have had the Booting status for several minutes. Where are the logs to see what is set wrong ? Thank you guys for your help. This looks like its supposed to I think. You should be able to reach your NAS/setup by then going to the Ip shown or find.synology.com.. So https://find.synology.com or as an example from your screenshot: Http://192.168.1.175:5000
