Rasmus86 Posted October 11, 2022 #1 Posted October 11, 2022 Hi, I'm adding a JMicron JMB585 pci 3.0 x4 PCI SATA board - are there any risks of adding the drives to the existing diskgroup or is it better to create a new group with only the drives from the PCI? By adding to the existing group I can avoid having to use another disk as backup in raid, so just wanted to check. Quote
Peter Suh Posted October 12, 2022 #2 Posted October 12, 2022 (edited) The DSM installation success story for the chipset you inquired seems to be above. And It may or may not be included in an existing RAID group. It's your choice. Edited October 12, 2022 by Peter Suh Quote
