openvmtools kernel requirements

Hi, OPenvmtools seems works as expected, in normal implementation there are others kernel modules that are optional but i would like to try to add and see if are needed or not.
I compiled lkm using synology source kernel, but there is an option in the kernel that cant be compiled as modules.
My question is, could be possible, using redpill framework, add this option to a kernel and put this kernel with this option into pat file? 
For the modules could be use a pocopico extension framework to add specific modules into zImage 
The options are  
 

CONFIG_HYPERVISOR_GUEST=y
CONFIG_SYS_HYPERVISOR=y
CONFIG_VMWARE_VMCI_VSOCKETS=m
CONFIG_VMWARE_BALLOON=m
