TechyFox Posted August 8, 2022 Share #1 Posted August 8, 2022 it's all the morning that I'm trying to install DSM 7.0.1 But redial give me some errors during the installations If I try to choose the 7.0.1-42218 version. I need that specific version for using advanced media extension pack version 1.1.1 the one that works without the Synology account. And which version I should install to be able to add more disks in the future?

TechyFox Posted August 8, 2022 Author Share #4 Posted August 8, 2022 I need the tiny core redpill version 0.4.4/0.4.5 but I'm not able to find it anywhere
rojoone2 Posted August 8, 2022 Share #5 Posted August 8, 2022 With a 7th gen intel CPU, you can choose any of the platforms in your first post. I don't know if you will be able to get the older TCRP images, but you can install 7.0.1 on 0.8.0.0

rojoone2 Posted August 9, 2022 Share #10 Posted August 9, 2022 Check this tutorial. There is a troubleshooting section near the bottom of the first post. Did you skip any of the steps for the build?

rojoone2 Posted August 9, 2022 Share #12 Posted August 9, 2022 What was the output of ./rploader.sh satamap? Does your laptop have a M.2 slot? you may have to edit the user_config.jason to : SataPortMap=1 DiskIdxMap=
TechyFox Posted August 9, 2022 Author Share #13 Posted August 9, 2022 (edited) Yes have a slot but I removed the m2 ssd and I have an hd on the sata port Edited August 9, 2022 by TechyFox
rojoone2 Posted August 9, 2022 Share #14 Posted August 9, 2022 Can you disable the M.2 port in the BIOS so that there is just SATA ports available? Disable RAID Also disable virtualization if you haven't done so already. It sometimes prevents installation. Make sure you disable UEFI if using the legacy TCRP image, and enable if using the UFI image.
