Expanding RAID 10

I have currently 4x6TB drives in RAID10.

I'm planning to add 2x8TB drives to the array, will this be ok ?

With SHR, you're fine, but once you already built RAID10, not so sure if it let you expand (add more HDDs). Correct me if I'm wrong.

Even you can add more HDDs, in this case 2x8TB, you will lose 4TB (2TB/each).
