[Tuto] Installer/Migrer DSM 5.2 à 6.0.2 (Loader Jun)

Il faudrait pour commencer fournir plus d'information sur votre matériel. Model, année par example.

 

Donc en ayant aussi peu d'info tout ce que me vient à l'esprit c'est que votre Bios n'est pas correctement configuré. Le loader v1.01 est un loader hybride et peut booter soit en uefi soit en legacy. Il faut voir dans votre bios pour faire booter la clef usb en mode legacy (bios).

 

Il s'agit d'un vieux XW6400 de chez HP le bios date de 2007 donc boot en Legacy surement, dans tous les cas je ne peux pas switcher entre UEFI ou Legacy.

 

Et toutes les sécurités de modification d'OS son désactivées (prévntion d'exécution de données et technologie de virtualisation intel sur off)

Vous ne pouvez pas switcher entre UEFI ou Legacy étant donné que pas de UEFI mais vous pouvez choisir à partir de quel disque booter en principe. Si pas de choix entre 2 disques, regardez aussi si le mode AHCI est activé car le loader ne bootera pas en mode IDE.

Non je suis en 6.02 update 8

 

Et donc vous avez refait la clef usb comme indiqué plus haut?

 

Si vous lisez la discussion un peu en arrière vous verrez que plusieurs personnes ont eu des problèmes avec l'update 8. Normalement il leur a suffit de faire un reboot forcé ou alors de refaire la clef usb.

Je vais bientôt me tenter par cette petite MAJ, mais une chose me turlupine

 

dans la liste de ce qu'il y a savoir avant le tuto tu dis :

- Faites attention à branchez vos HDD successivement en commençant par le premier port SATA normalement décrit come SATA0 sur les cartes meres. Vérifiez avec le fabriquant de votre carte mère.

 

Je comprend pas pourquoi et j'avoue que cela m'effraie, car a l'heure actuel j'ai un 4X4to en raid SHR qui tourne, si je met qu'un seul disque au demarrage et que je les ajoute un par un, cela vas cassé mon raid non ??

 

Pour information ( au cas ou ) j'ai un HP proliant GEN8 g1610t

Il faut tous les mettre des le départ. Pourquoi vouloir les rajouter un par un??

A vrai dire ce commentaire était plus destiné pour ceux que ne font pas de migration mais qui font une installation fraiche. Laissez vos disques tel quel et entamez la mise à jour.

Il sous entend qu'il existe une version du loader ou une autre méthode qui permet de mettre à jour en 6.1, ce qui n'est pas le cas.

 

Donc un truc de ce genre serait plus approprié :

NE PAS METTRE DSM A JOUR A LA VERSION 6.1, il n'existe aucun loader le supportant.

 

Voilà .... ma remarque à deux balles.

Oui l'émulation SATA est bien en RAID + AHCI, le bios me trouve bien chaque fois la clef usb mais ne détecte pas le programme bootable donc me raconte qu'il ne trouve pas de partition bootable.

 

Ce n'est pas la première fois que j'ai un soucis avec certaines clefs mais la j'en ais essayé 5 de marque différentes et capacités différente, ce qui me chagrine c'est que je peux remettre XPENOBOOT sur n'importe laquelle et il boote sans soucis.

 

Qu'utilisez vous comme clef pour info ?

Dans l'hypothèse ou vous avez bien gravé l'image sur la clef usb je ne pense pas que la clef soit le problem. Je suis quasiment certain que le problème provient de la configuration du BIOS. Comparez Xpenoboot à ce nouveau loader ne sert a rien. Ils sont complètement différents.

 

Est-il possible de changer le mode SATA à AHCI uniquement et non RADI+AHCI ?

Aussi je vois dans le manuel de votre machine la chose suivante: "Enable or disable removable media write ability (when supported by hardware)." - Il faut que se soit activé.

 

Ce que je peux recommender c'est:

1) mettre à jour le bios si possible,

2) si 1) pas possible faire un reset du bios - ça aide parfois,

3) regardez bien dans les menu du bios pour tout ce qui est relatif au boot sur clef USB. Dans beaucoup de machines la clef usb doit être configuré en "USB HDD" pour que la clef soit bootable. Il faut faire des essaies avec votre bios. Changez une option à la fois et rebootez à chaque fois voir si ca marche.

Je ne vois pas ce qu'il y a d'ambigu là-dedans.

 

Par ailleurs, il existe bien une version du loader (v1.02a) qui permet le passage à DSM 6.1 mais je ne la mets pas expressément dans le tuto car c'est un loader qui à mon avis n'est pas stable, donc "ne pas mettre à jour à la version 6.1 avec le loader v1.01" est tout à fait valide même s'il n'existait pas de nouvelle version du loader.

 

Cette remarque est destinée aux têtes brulées qui aiment faire des mises à jour de leur installation sans se poser de questions ou alors qui oublient de désactiver la fonction de mise à jour automatique. Je l'ai mis suite à quelques incidents ou certains avaient mis à jour leur installation à 6.1 avec le loader v1.01 et se sont retrouvés bloqués.

Je vais essayer avec d'autres logiciels pour rendre la clef bootable et vous tiens au courant.

Tout s'est passé nickel !

Il a fallut forcer un peu la main vu mes différents controllers SATA et se forcer à ne pas lire qu'il allait faire une nouvelle installation et ça été.

J'ai fait la mise à jour (update 10) sans aucun soucis.

 

@Polanskiman (ou autre), est-ce normal que mon dongle Bluetooth Kinivo BTD-400 ne soit pas reconnu ? (dans panneau de config -> sans fil -> Bluetooth : il m'indique : "veuillez insérer un adaptateur Bluetooth")

 

Xpenology DSM 6.0.2-8451 (update 10) tourne sur un N54L, loader 1.01.

 

Un soucis de driver non inclus? (pourtant ce dongle est indiqué comme compatible avec les 3615xs) Qque chose que j'aurais mal fait ?

Normalement ce dongle marche avec le module btusb.ko qui lui normalement fait parti des modules par default. Avez vous essayé un autre port usb?

 

Aussi, laissez branché le dongle, redémarrez et ensuite tapez cette commande via ssh:

 

dmesg | grep Blue

Envoyez le resultat ici.

La question a surement été posé plusieurs fois, mais je ne trouve pas de réponse qui soit assez clair...

 

Comment je fais pour récuperer le VID/PID dans le cas d'une microSD ?

 

J'utilise un proliant Gen8 et je possède un lecteur de microSD sur la carte mère j'aimerais le ré-utiliser, avez vous un astuce pour me procurez la bonne information ?

Edit : Après quelque recherche appronfondie, le VID/PID ce situe au niveau du lecteur de carte et non pas sur la carte elle même !

Me reste plus qu'a trouver un moyen de le connaitre sans devoir installer quoi que ce soit ! :smile:

Dans le cas ou vous avez un Hp proliant qui est déjà sous xpenology et que vous souhaité utiliser votre lecteur de carte microSD interne pour la version 6.0. il vous faut récupérer le vip et pid du lecteur !

pour ce faire il faut lancer un invité de commande ( SSH ) et entré la commande suivante :

cat /proc/bus/usb/devices |grep -e "^$" -e"Vendor" -e "Manufacturer" -e "Product"
 

Vous aurez une ligne ou il y aura ecrit "Product = Ultra Fast Media Reader" c'est ce contenu qui nous intéresse ! :smile:

j'ai essayer de faire la migration de mon nas de 5.2 a 6.0 mais il me sort une erreur

mes deux disque fonctionne bien sous 5.2 et sont reconnue dans le bios.

j'ai bien modifier le vid et pid avec ceux de la clés,mac et SN.

j'ai bien choisi AMD dans le menu.

j'ai essayer avec append SataPortMap=2 dans la console grub même chose.

Seuls les dispositifs USB ont un VID/PID. Les lecteurs de carte sont des dispositifs USB donc ils en ont, tout comme les clefs USB. Les cartes (SD, CF, MMC, XD, Memory Stick etc etc) ne sont pas des dispositifs USB donc ils n'en ont pas.
