@Kyar incase you have any issues with 440fx another way to make the ports to start from 1 it's to change the SataMap and IDMap to something like this:

SataPortMap: 16

SataIdxMap: 00

I do not know what that combination means but basically it will make the 1st SATA controller disappear and the 1st Sata Drive will start from position 1 but from the 2nd Sata Controller...

Hi, the "support_oob_ctl"  param is because the DS3622XL has 5 interfaces, four normal and one is used for this OOB (OutOfBand) control. The DSM scripts reduces one interface when this param is set YES.

The Addon i915 is only for 10th generation, for you with 4th gen. do not install this addon.

Thanks for the clarification. Another question is, if I don't install the i915 addon, then recognition should work, or do I need to buy intel 10th generation and install the addon?

Hi,

 

I have a problem with no ethernet activity after booting. Loading DSM kernel... Booting... and 30 seconds later, give or take, no ethernet activity. The physical console hangs as well and i have to shut down the pc with the power button. I have the chipset RTL8111 and it seems to me that the driver exists in the loader (Kernel driver in use: r8169)

 

Previously i got this to work with TCRP 0.8.0.0/0.8.0.5, broadwellnk-7.1.0-42621 (DS3622xs+)

 

I've attached some log files as well as my config. Anyone that can see what i'm missing? Is there some other log that can be of use?

Maybe someone else can connect to the diagnostics on TCRL since @Drones is not responding.

 

I also have the same issues that @Drones and @Loredan have. I previously posted lspci -nnk (See below).

 

Seems to be an issue with drivers. I previously used TCRP and they must have the proper drivers as it worked flawlessly. Let me know if there's a way to manually add or any testing you want me to do.

Hi all 

I have a strange behavior created with the newest ARPL Loader a DSM 3622xs 42962 in VMware Workstation 16.2  all is sucessfull BUT when i want copy files over the share that i have created with guest rights etc i can access the share but i can NOT copy files --> Network error ? 

Had one the same experience ?

 

VM is created :

CPU 4 cores

RAM 5GB

Bridged Network Mellanox 10 Gbe 

1 x Sata existing HDD with ARPL

1x Sata for DSM also at Sata 

 

What im doing wrong?

Hi, if you have the acpid addon activated it works (default is on).

If you have done a clean install of dsm, you need to reboot it manually, after this it works too.

How dou you test this?

With iperf3 i have ~27Gbit/sec with between Proxmox and DSM (virtio)

Once I upgraded to far 918+ to 6.2.3 u4, Junes won't start. I made new one (multoloader) booted and put pat file of 7.0.1, everything started. I didn't try but I think upgrade to DSM 7, than switch loader to ARPL should work normally.

 

There is problem with some apps. They have new version in DSM 7 and everything has to be config from beginning.
