Which makes me think I should put windows on it and look at cpu-z, but if I remember fma3 instructions were release at first only starting with Haswell cpus. The problem is that my asrock for 2 cpu slots motherboard fried recently and I have left with 2 cpus 128gb ram, and those motherboards are rare. Only found for single cpu motherboards, some chinese brand. And its interesting for me to resurect the old power of those cpus, as well as to test new loader with new dsm and especially dva but it all takes time and money. And I really hope that by the time I will get it all together again the solution of some sort will be found, since 918+, 3615 or 3617 is not that interesting anymore if its possible to get transcoding or 8 licenses on ss with gpupassthrough for perspective view or as for fail over.

In this PDF,  they mention FMA3.exe program to test if capable.

Ok thanks for info, once I will get xeons up and running will check it out, also will check N2807 soon because in cpu-z there is no fma3 in a list of instructions.

Well I guess I will have a lot of tests to do to find out if intel secretly made fma3 before haswell ))

 

I ve read link (Edit 2) they say that any cpu with AVX2 supports fma3 automatically, but found screens of cpu-z for both Xeon E5-2660v2 and Celeron N2807 I dont see them have it, but its not my screens, just found in google, also checked e5-2420 and e3-1270 according to cpu-z instructions are the same. But I dont know how cpu-z works, detects instructions or just takes official info, so of course this needs to be double checked with those tools you found.

Installed on ASUS B85M-PLUS BM6AF  with baremetal works.

If installitation stuck at 56%, try insert USB to back panel instead of front panel.

 

But AI and Face Reconigtioton not works, here's the log:

And what is the cpu? Reason maybe igpu is not compatible with AI

Is it your only display output or you have discrete gpu with monitor connected to it? Because If I remember there were people in this thread that were able to run AI with HD4200 and HD4400. So igpu must be as main in bios, and also which loader do you use? TCRP or different? TCRP has most support currently than others. Plus its haswell cpu and 100% will work for dva3221 if you get nvidia gpu gtx1650 gddr5.

Looked in this thread #46 it looks like your igpu should support AI face rec and DVA in dva1622:

I'm using only iGPU, no dGPU.

I'm using latest TCRP, i'm wondering how it wont works too.

I can confirm that setting netif_num=4, setting mac1,mac2,mac3,mac4 and changing maxlanport="4" in /etc/synoinfo.conf and /etc.defaults/synoinfo.conf works as expected.
I am running it as Proxmox VM with 4x virtio interfaces.

Your errors are different after you enabled VT-d, can you remove all tasks, or even SS and reinstall it again? If it will not work, try to reinstall dsm, I know its time, but maybe it didnt install something correctly at begining without VT-d enabled. Also are you trying to create face rec task in cms or directly? If you will decide to reinstall dsm from begining, don't forget to erase ssd/hdd because it will just use it with old settings as it was if you wont do it.

I didnt use it personally, but as far as I understand after build command it must be as follows:

sudo rm -rf /home/tc/oldpat.tar.gz && \

sudo rm -rf /mnt/"$(mount | grep -i optional | grep cde | awk -F / '{print $3}' | uniq | cut -c 1-3)3"/auxfiles && \

sudo rm -rf /home/tc/custom-module && \

./rploader.sh backup now

He is calling "./rploader.sh ext apollolake-7.1.0-42661 add https://github.com/pocopico/redpill-load/raw/develop/redpill-acpid/rpext-index.json", but that does not work as the redpill-acpid/rpext-index.json does not contain release for dva1622_42661.

Well then its not yet supported I guess. But you can try dva3221_42661 maybe it will work. But how to make it call that platform I cant tell, I think its better to create request on github in TCRP to include dva1622.

I successfully made it work by force 😅

I have made copy of "/home/tc/redpill-load/custom/extensions/jumkey.acpid2/jumkey.acpid2.json" and manually added dva1622_42661 release.

Then during "./rploader.sh build dva1622-7.1.0-42661 manual" I have just copied my modified file back to the original location after the "Updating jumkey.acpid2 extension..." section.

Build was successful and the power button started to work.

But I have one ssd 256GB on Intel Nuc J3455, I can install over baremetal too.

 

With  Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge71 Intel i3 2120 I have installed DVA1622 with ARPL on baremetal.
