with current Redpill method

- manual build PC with Intel Core I5, 32 Gb, Sata 1TB

- Motherboard B150M-HD3 Gigabyte

SSD 2.5 sata 256Gb already attached onboard but xpenology could not reconize it

Thank you

Can you give more details please?... like..

What platform did you build? DS 918, 920, 3615, 3617?

Did you build the loader with the 256gb SSD attached.. or did you attach afterwards?

Do you have hot plug enabled in the bios?

I'm current with DS920+, DSM 7.1-42661 Update 1,

build with Redpill on diy build PC, MB GA-B150M-HD3

256Gb SSD i attached after install DSM finished, Bios can see 256Gb as well

where did you check for the disk, usual place would be storage manager and there hdd/ssd

try to check out whats in the dmesg log with (activate in dsm and use putty to connect to the dsm system)

for the controller:  dmesg | grep ahci

for the disks: dmesg | grep sd
