svitale623 Posted October 9, 2016 Share #1 Posted October 9, 2016 hi everyone, my quickconnect ID is coded to my xpnology nas, which was previously coded to my ds212. i would like to reconnect my ds 212 nas and leave at my parents house to keep a 3rd backup of my personal files. i would configure the ds 212 with clould sync and enter my quickconnet ID. I was wondering if this is even possible. if not what would be a suggestion to sync my data between both nas's. thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sbv3000 Posted October 9, 2016 Share #3 Posted October 9, 2016 if you have used your ds212 serial and mac to register your xpe box with quick connect then I dont think you can register it again with the real box, it would have a different wan ip address for example. also, you need to decide if you want a backup or to synch. either way I think it might be simpler to setup a ddns and port forward for the ds212 and connect that way. you could also use the available tools to create working fake mac/serial numbers, in which case I would re-register the real box with its own numbers and use the fake ones on your xpe, then qc should work with both Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
