sbv3000 Posted October 8, 2016 Share #1 Posted October 8, 2016 I've been playing around with various setups to create a 28 sata drive system, using old drives, to create a large backup jukebox. I've found that its possible to go to 26 drives without issue - but setting up 28 'crashes' straight away - need to reinstall DSM as if 'migrating'. Applying some logic and from the allocation by Linux of drives as sda - sdz (ie 26) I think that the current version within XPE/DSM is 'limited' to sdz. In theory Linux should allocate sdaa etc but it looks like thats not happening. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
