Jumbo frame activated : how to access to my nas ?

Hi,

 

I think I have made a mistake...

I have activated Jumbo frame and put 9000.

After reboot, I can't access to my NAS, what should I do now?

Reinstall xpenology loosing my configuration ? Another idea ?

Can you Ping The nas? Did you have a static ip? What version are you running? Do you have Jumbo frames set on your switch?

I can't ping it.

I have a static IP.

I think that my ISP box don't support jumbo frame

if you have telnet enabled then access the box and edit the eth mtu settings in synoinfo.conf to 1500 and see if that helps

 

If no telnet access, you could try choosing the 'install debug' menu option at xpe boot or if you use a different boot loader (but within the same version of DSM) and you have a 'standard' config (ie not more than 16 drives) that will overwrite the synoinfo.conf and should reset the network settings.

 

Nothing is without some risk to data!

 

Swap back to the latest boot loader onces you are back on line

Do you see it in Synology Assistant? if so you can edit network settings there.

Problem solved.

I have connected me on the nas using a monitor and a keyboard.

I have modified the synoinfo.conf to 1500 of the mtu settings and after a reboot, it was OK !
