dominion Posted September 20, 2016 #1 Posted September 20, 2016 Hi, I think I have made a mistake... I have activated Jumbo frame and put 9000. After reboot, I can't access to my NAS, what should I do now? Reinstall xpenology loosing my configuration ? Another idea ? Thanks
stelle007 Posted September 21, 2016 #2 Posted September 21, 2016 Can you Ping The nas? Did you have a static ip? What version are you running? Do you have Jumbo frames set on your switch?
dominion Posted September 21, 2016 Author #3 Posted September 21, 2016 I can't ping it. I have a static IP. I think that my ISP box don't support jumbo frame
sbv3000 Posted September 21, 2016 #4 Posted September 21, 2016 if you have telnet enabled then access the box and edit the eth mtu settings in synoinfo.conf to 1500 and see if that helps If no telnet access, you could try choosing the 'install debug' menu option at xpe boot or if you use a different boot loader (but within the same version of DSM) and you have a 'standard' config (ie not more than 16 drives) that will overwrite the synoinfo.conf and should reset the network settings. Nothing is without some risk to data! Swap back to the latest boot loader onces you are back on line
dominion Posted September 21, 2016 Author #5 Posted September 21, 2016 Thanks, I'll try that with the debug option.
stelle007 Posted September 23, 2016 #6 Posted September 23, 2016 Do you see it in Synology Assistant? if so you can edit network settings there.
dominion Posted October 2, 2016 Author #7 Posted October 2, 2016 Problem solved. I have connected me on the nas using a monitor and a keyboard. I have modified the synoinfo.conf to 1500 of the mtu settings and after a reboot, it was OK ! Thanks guys.
