It seems that the port is not mapped correctly in this part.

In your case, it seems that you are using 1 nvme cache and 1 sata hdd.


I think the part of finding the port of the recently applied nvme cache is still in the alpha version.
There are not many success stories yet.
I guess I'll have to contact jumkey again if you give me the log.

I figured out what's going on. I have an NVIDIA RTX 3070 and AMD Radeon 5700 graphics cards. Apparently, having the AMD card plugged in with the NVIDIA one causes the device to be stuck at kernel (Kernel Panic?) and it does not show up on the network. Disconnecting the AMD graphics card allowed Synology NAS to show up on the network.

It is a process of build on TC Linux.

Download my.sh with the command below, decompress it, and use it.

wget https://github.com/PeterSuh-Q3/tinycore-redpill/raw/main/my.sh.gz; tar -zxvf my.sh.gz;

 

And you need some skill with the vi editor.

I was able to figure out vim. For the first SATA port it skipped the question and it went to 0. the second I set it to 6. I didn't change the id to 46 and 0006.

When you have a chance, please boot TinyCore and post the results of dmesg

 

I'd like to validate the nature of the port failure as posted by the kernel.  It doesn't seem that there is a way to fix this with satamap aside from disabling ports (but we can use dtb/dts solution or virtualization as alternatives).  But if the problem is presented consistently by TC kernel we can detect it and advise the user.

Sorry, it took me this long to continue on this but I just had my other computer that has the NVME in it. I put both NVMEs in both slots now. I did update and fullupgrade just in case something got updated so I don't miss it.
