XPEnology Still Maintained?

Hello All -

 

I'm considering moving away from my current NAS solution and I have owned Synology devices in the past so am quite familiar with them.

 

This solution seems ideal - allows you to take the best of both worlds - the excellent DSM software and pair it to the hardware of your choosing.

 

While exploring this option I noticed that it appears the last update was in February of 2016 (XPEnoboot 5.2-5544.5 RELEASED) - that's quite a long time ago (6 months+) and was curious if this effort is still actively maintained?

That site is maintained by a member here, but this is all hobby stuff.

 

It may not get updated immediately. Their guides are good though.
