slottie Posted August 3, 2016 #1 Posted August 3, 2016 Hi, First of all, exellent job on this super software. Second my apologies for my crooked english. (dont mind if someone PM me in Dutch) But i have an Intel® Desktop Board D945GCLF2 installed (mini ITX) http://ark.intel.com/products/42491/Int ... -D945GCLF2 And the board is gigalan capable but somehow runs on 100mbps. Is there a way for an absolute NOOB in Linux, to get help on running my DS on 1000mbps? Thanks in advance. Slottie EDIT Checked the cable is CAT 6, checked ethtool eth0 no 1000mbp/s is showing at the compertible modes. Perhaps an driver issue ?
AllGamer Posted August 3, 2016 #2 Posted August 3, 2016 I have a similar Intel® Desktop Board D945GNT the on-board network card is only 100 Mbps I know some models of the D945G series boards are supposed to come with 1000 Mbps, but most are 100 Mbps. Did that motherboard work fine at 1000 Mbps when run in a Windows OS ? or linux OS ?
slottie Posted August 4, 2016 Author #3 Posted August 4, 2016 Thanks for the reply. I realy don`t know. The board comes out of a Kodak scan station and have never been installed on a windows version. But i can boot it this week on win7 to try it out. Will be continued.
