csunny95 Posted August 2, 2016 Share #1 Posted August 2, 2016 Interested to buy the Asrock J3710-ITX. I think the J3710 should be the upgrade version of n3700. But will it be compatible with the latest build of Xpenology? Because some say that there will be p_state problem in the braswell chipset CPU in which the CPU cannot have the turbo boost frequency. Will the latest build solve the problem? Is there any other recommendation other than the Asrock J3710-ITX?
abced Posted August 2, 2016 Share #2 Posted August 2, 2016 If you aren't ging to run CPU intensive tasks, you can safely get J3160-ITX

wenlez Posted November 22, 2016 Share #8 Posted November 22, 2016 anyone has experience in compiling ? There is source code for Braswell: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dsgpl/ ... z/download
mazzo91 Posted November 23, 2016 Share #9 Posted November 23, 2016 This cpu doesnt use turbo boost frequency but BURST frequency which is different, atm xpenology doesnt support intel_pstate driver, so until now having this type of cpu is useless cause it works at 60% of his capacity. faarrroooo Posted February 8, 2017 Share #10 Posted February 8, 2017 Intel J3710 - doesn't support Intel® Turbo Boost Technology it can take care Simple NAS activities but probably wont be able to perform well on video transcoding and streaming.
