Official Syno won't boot with esata as internal

Hi,

i'm currently switching from a xpenology to a DS1813+.

I wan't to use esata ports as internal.

When i modify the synoinfo from  :

 

esataportcfg="0x300"
internalportcfg="0xff"
usbportcfg="0x3f0000"

 

to

 

esataportcfg="0"
internalportcfg="0x3ff"
usbportcfg="0x3f0000"

 

then reboot (without esata plugged) : ok

plug sata drives : ok show as internal.

But if i reboot with esata plugged the nas won't boot and go into recovery and need to reinstall it.

 

any idea why i have this issue ?
