mihnea Posted June 27, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 27, 2016 Hi all , For several days trying to configure DSM on a computer motherboard from Asus B85 trooper , two 2 TB HDD from Seagate and one of 4 tb from .I western boot with XPEnoboot , everything runs perfectly but when I try to create a new volume , although I see the hard drives in the end I get an error that announced the changes are not saved .In the end , when I give df -h no partitions are displayed . I suspect it is a problem with drivers from controllers . If anyone can help me , I shall be very grateful . thank you,

abced Posted June 27, 2016 Share #5 Posted June 27, 2016 You can't run DSM 6 with current loader.
Razor237 Posted June 27, 2016 Share #6 Posted June 27, 2016 With the current XPEnoboot you can only run DSM 5.2 and if you install 6.0 it will boot but you cant mount or create volumes. it has been covered quite a lot. there are a few running DSM 6 but its through a virtual machine with EXI , not too sure about that since there seems to be a lot of tweaking involved so wasnt worth the messing with since 5.2 works just fine until they have DSM 6.0 on XPEnoboot
