hankbob Posted June 16, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 16, 2016 So I bought a 12 bay IBM HS-1235E to run XPEnology from and it runs great aside from it thinking that the last 4 bays on the server are external e-sata instead of regular bays, which means it won't let me use them in my main SHR volume. Diverge Posted June 16, 2016 Share #2 Posted June 16, 2016 DSM assigns bay slots to the controller ports it detects. It's possible it's assigning the last 4 bays to other ports your not using. You'd need to poke around in ssh to try to see what is going on. fdisk -l and other utils might give you some clues. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
