DraGula Posted September 6, 2013 Share #1 Posted September 6, 2013 Hello here! I need your help I added a Transcend PDC3 card on my Proliant running on DSM 4.2. The goal was to add a sixth disk and of course enjoyed the USB3. Problem, my disc is not recognized by DSM. My drive is recognized in the BIOS (in priority disks). It even detects the disk model. The USB works on DSM. A "dmesg | grep-i SATA" correctly list six discs. But nothing to do, my last disk does not appear in the Disk Management. Do you have any idea? Thank you! undecided Posted October 2, 2013 Share #5 Posted October 2, 2013 Any luck with this? I also ordered a ASMedia ASM1061 based card hoping to add more drives to the build I am about to start.
undecided Posted October 7, 2013 Share #6 Posted October 7, 2013 Well, it's confirmed, it doesn't work on 4.2. Any drive plugged into this card is not visible in DSM.
