rickym Posted March 1, 2022 Share #1 Posted March 1, 2022 (edited) I have a HP N43L emulating DS3615 with 4 2 tb hard drives. It is only used for movies and it's getting full. I eventually want to replace all 4 drives with 4 or 6 tb drives. I have decided due to the cost I will do one at a time and want to be sure what I am doing wont cause problems. It is running shr1. Can I just shut down the server. Pull one of the drives and replace it with a new one and then restart the server. I know it has to rebuild the raid but I am a little confuse about what's next or if this way is even possible. Thanks in advance.
