Sonnyboy666 Posted April 28, 2016 #1 Posted April 28, 2016 (edited) Hello everyone, the new DSM 5.2-5967 is out now and I just want to know if someone has tested this on a VM or bare-metal machine, yet? Does it work with XPEnoboot 5.2-5644.5? Edited April 28, 2016 by Guest Quote
brantje Posted April 28, 2016 #3 Posted April 28, 2016 Updated a VM, needed to reboot. After reboot everything was running fine. Quote
lbn Posted April 28, 2016 #4 Posted April 28, 2016 Does Surveillance station 7.0-3775 works as well as on 5644.8 version, or someone got trouble with auto-shutdown etc ? Quote
Pollux4092 Posted April 28, 2016 #5 Posted April 28, 2016 Did a bare metal install. System did a reboot, after that normal operations. Quote
guyp2k Posted April 28, 2016 #6 Posted April 28, 2016 New to Xpeneology - installed in Hyper-V last week and running well. Where and how would you install this update, from Xpenology itself or from the boot screen install/update? Thanks Quote
brantje Posted April 28, 2016 #7 Posted April 28, 2016 Check packages, all seem to work fine. Posted via Xpenology.us Quote

billy1 Posted April 29, 2016 #11 Posted April 29, 2016 Just upgraded on a bare metal machine that was running 5644.8. After a successful upgrade and reboot, looks that everything is running normally (checked a few of my most used packages). Will post an update if anything goes awry in the coming days. Quote
imaleecher Posted April 29, 2016 #12 Posted April 29, 2016 Just updated to 5.2-5967 successfully via web console. Rebooted and haven't seen any issues. Quote
Bhakta Posted April 29, 2016 #13 Posted April 29, 2016 I always freak out about doing updates, I think understandably... So no need to update the bootloader? Just use DSM control panel? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

spart Posted April 29, 2016 #17 Posted April 29, 2016 After upgrade on my HP Microserver GEN8, the nfs sharing from server 2012 doesn't work... Quote
jrg Posted April 29, 2016 #18 Posted April 29, 2016 How is this installed? I tried doing it from the control panel as well as a manual update with the .pat from synology. It stops the update at 22% and doesn't continue. I can't seem to use ssh to do much. Can't read logs in /var. Quote
lilobzh Posted April 29, 2016 #19 Posted April 29, 2016 Hi Which PAT File (url ?) you use to update in DSM ? Because the automatic update install DSM 6 i suppose. Thank Quote
spart Posted April 29, 2016 #20 Posted April 29, 2016 Tested it myself on HP ProLiant Gen8 bare metal. After reboot everything is working fine. has been fixed. This is because after reboot the script 'S99mount.sh' which is used to map share folder via nfs has gone. Then I add it again then reboot, now it works! Quote
