Flarup Posted March 26, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 26, 2016 hey im sitting on a hotel and just tried to update my server to 6.0, now it won't start up, is this normal or do i just need to be patient ?
TBK Posted March 26, 2016 Share #2 Posted March 26, 2016 You need to downgrade since the current release of XPEnoboot does NOT support DSM 6.
Flarup Posted March 26, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted March 26, 2016 Instead of downgrading could I then just wait for a release of Xpenoboot ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
abced Posted March 26, 2016 Share #4 Posted March 26, 2016 You can always wait. You just won't be able to use your box properly.

TBK Posted March 26, 2016 Share #6 Posted March 26, 2016 You can always wait, the question is just how long it will take before somebody is able to make a DSM 6 bootloader.
brantje Posted March 28, 2016 Share #7 Posted March 28, 2016 You can downgrade without losing your data, here is a how to Posted via Xpenology.us
Jman420 Posted March 28, 2016 Share #8 Posted March 28, 2016 I recommend downgrading. If you leave your machine in its current state and wait for the XPEnoboot release that supports DSM 6.0 your system will be in a corrupted state and will as likely work as not work. This has to do with how our patching system works (which I've explained in detail when I built it). Your best bet is to downgrade to a supported DSM version.
