ESXI 6.5 + Xpenology DSM 6.1.7-15284 -> Update yes or no

Question

Hey guys,

iam running my Xpenology some years and all is fine ... So iam thinking about to Backup my files and Update ESXI + Xpeonolgy to the newest versions.

Do an update make sence (security / performance / new options) --> (justify please) or dont`t update (justify also, please).
