It would be impossible to turn on the hot plug of Sata Port, right?

Also, are you trying with DSM 7.0.1 TinyCore?

Dont have hotplug in bios settings. satamap now finds SataPortMap=5 and DiskIdsMap=00  but message says errors on hdd 1,2,4

In the first 7.0.1 build of the TSU, that command does not seem to be executed well and is random.

Can't we get a guaranteed execution?

sudo ln -s $local_cache /home/tc/custom-module

It seems that the custom-module -> /mnt/sdb3/auxfiles link is often not created.

I just encountered the error message below while building 7.0.1 of DVA3221.

Also, the custom-module ->/mnt/sdb3/auxfiles link was not generated.

Can't I physically point to SataportMap = 1 leaving only one SSD or HDD? Do you happen to have a Sata CD-ROM drive?

were you able to fix the issue where it says "Sorry, the page you are looking for is not found." issue and then turns off?
i have 3 qnap boxes and the other 2 works fine for TSU 7.1, fresh install;

atom 525 does not work, i3-2120 works fine. not sure if related to AES but as per intel site: Intel® AES New Instructions = NO for both proc.
atom 525 works with 7.0.1; i will try to do upgrade from 7.0.1 to 7.1 some time.

cc @pocopico for some ideas. :)

on vmware platform with dva3221 also does not fix.

Can you both try recreating the loader ?

./rploader.sh ext platform-XXXXXXXXX add https://github.com/pocopico/redpill-load/raw/master/redpill-misc/rpext-index.json

I've modified the script on redpill-misc extension for identifying missing HW to match the modules-load.d files. it should work for both. Tries to find CPU capabilities and NVIDIA GPU existence to disable the following:

   acpi-cpufreq on -> /lib/modules-load.d/70-cpufreq-kernel.conf
   crc32c-intel on -> /lib/modules-load.d/70-crypto-kernel.conf
   nvidia       on -> /lib/modules-load.d/70-syno-nvidia-gpu.conf
   nvidia-uvm   on -> /lib/modules-load.d/70-syno-nvidia-gpu.conf

If you limit to 1/2/3/4 you leave the fifth device out. Can you try SataPortMap=15 ?

Hey Guys, do you remember me reporting on ds3617xs above and asking if it is dsm 7.1 or dsm 7.0.1?

Perhaps there is something wrong with sataportmap working on dsm 7.1 ds3617xs.

When I went to install dsm 7.1 on ds3617xs,
I was looking forward to the migration, but I saw that there was no installation
The dsm does not seem to recognize the disk already installed.

Shouldn't we check this part first?

If dsm 7.0.1 is attempted, I can go back to dsm 7.0.1 and proceed with the same test.

Please don't ignore my message and read it once.

And mine? 😆

Have to put my RDM Sata on sata 1? with the loader?

you need to create pointers and add these pointer files as hard drives.

Put your pointers to the local datastore
