Hi, everyone, I can boot from the USB or from vm disk(sata0). But both stop at "boot tinycore for loader creation". I'm installing it on Proxmox vm. I had installed 6.2.3 successfully before which is running smoothly.

What should I do? Thanks.

BTW, I found that there is a bug in UEFI bios vm which can not boot tinycore loader. After changing the bios from UEFI to Seabios, the tinycore loader boots successfully using USB or vm disk(sata0).

Running build for ds3617xs and is currently trying to download the pat file but not getting any. Just the time spent going. Has the link changed? Thanks

Was able to boot with the ds3617xs bootloader. I'm using it as I have a h310 I don't think it's flashed to it mode. Anyway, when running listmods it detects the sata controller but it's trying to load tg3 which is for the nic card. I also ran dmesg and I don't see SAS driver being loaded. How can I add to the script to include the SAS driver/module? Running this on Dell Poweredge T320 raid card h310.

 

Update: sudo ./rploader.sh ext broadwell-7.0.1-42218 add https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pocopico/rp-ext/master/mpt3sas/rpext-index.json

 

Update: Boot, but still couldn't find the disks. Will try another ext. 

When I do satamap I'm only getting HBA: 00:1f.2 SataPortMap=6 and DiskIdxMap=00 

I believe there are 6 sata ports that don't have anything connection, but I need it to see the h310 card.

@pocopicoI have sucessfully installed 7.0.1-42218 bromwell (3615xs)with tiny pill and everything works, and it migrated my 32tb raid 10 without issue. When trying to use the broadwell 7.0.1-42218(3617xs) image, it boots but does not find network cards. So I did ifconfig from diskstation shell and indeed nothing shows up but loop 127.0...etc. This is on the exact same setup that 3615 runs on. It has a 4 port broadcom gigabit adapters(bnx3) ,10gbe broadcom, and mellanox connectx 3 in the chassis.

Appendum: I stated earlier that everything worked on 3615xs, I since found that the 10gbe broadcom adapter driver is not working(Bnx2x). lsmod shows it is loaded with no dependency usage. 04:00.0 and 04:00.1 is address.

I left it at the default setting of user_config.json which is SataPortMap": "58",
    "DiskIdxMap": "0A00" I have a 12 sas drive raid 10 on a 16 port card.

You LSI card is a megaraid sas. You need megaraid_sas extension.

From the list it looks that you need bnx2x and tg3 extensions. I had a look at the 3617xs extension and it looks that the bnx2x might not satisfy all dependencies.  I will check and update.

I am new to Xpenology, but got interested in this project. According to the video on YT Sabrine - I prepared and downloaded an img file that I made on RedPill. I used Proxmox for this, in the latest version - 7.1.8. What is the next step to run Xpenology? As I created a new VM, gave 4c and ram, I substituted qm importdisk 101 /var/lib/vz/dump/loader.img local-lvmci for the disk, I started the VM but it stopped booting the kernel. I probably skipped some steps. Someone will direct me?

Sure, @haydibe has included all required steps for creating a VM in proxmox and here are the latest. Dont use the GUI to create the VM like i did in the begining. Just use 1:1 the instructions below

Ok, unlikely doubled, but its driving me Nuts...

 

TinyCore suggested me MPT3 for my SAS Control:

But "no Disks attached" pop up if I boot the Stick. 3615XS image.

 

Anybody got a hint, what extension is needed for my HBA?

@pocopicoSounds good, I thought so, so I tried to compile the drivers for the first time myself, and succeded with broadwell. But have no clue how to get them into tinypill. I am familiar with the file structure of normal synoboot.img but I still feel pretty good that I could get this far, lol. Thanks again
