non standard LDAP port

Is there any place to define a non standard LDAP port? Over the gui it just tells me that its an invalid number or entry.

EDIT: managed to get the binding going with running the synoldapclient --bind no ldap.hostname:port_you_want basedn binddn password

Now it even gets displayed in the GUI (where it's still saying its wrong even though it is bound) but the search is not working. I'm 100% sure im using the right basedn because I'm using the same on other applications as well. Any idea ?

 

When I try to browse i get a "failed" and over the guy it tells me "{0} not found" etc.

OK so the problem above is still valid. I made a workaround but now encountered another. It seems (and is documented) that the DSM requires the object class posixAccounts for the users. Is there anyway that there is a workaround for this? Why does it even require that object class ?
