Mada Posted December 4, 2021 Share #1 Posted December 4, 2021 I updated to an incompatible version and bricked my system (HP Gen8 Microserver). I tried reinstalling with a new bootloader and 6.2.3-25426-3 with my 4x HDD's (full of data) unplugged. I managed to successfully reinstall using a single fresh hard drive and then hot plugged in the 4x HDD's, they are recognised in the storage manager but I wasn't prompted to repair the volumes etc to recover the data. I then restarted the server and was given the option to repair. It gets to 1% and then restarts. I then cannot access the server again through the IP address or find.synology.com. I'm really at a loss what to try next. My primary concern is retrieving the data on the hard drives (not everything is needed but some of the data is important).
