Xairoo Posted November 30, 2021 Share #1 Posted November 30, 2021 RAID 10 is terrible slow with 8x4TB WD Red drives: Read 170 MB/s Write 160 MB/s With RAID 0, 8x4TB: Read 120 MB/s Write 170 MB/s Iperf3 9,9 Gbit/s. I have jumbo frames enabled. Local source and target drive is a NVMe. Test file is 20 GB. Can it be the Core i3-4130? Hmmm, I have no idea. 0 Xairoo Posted November 30, 2021 Author Share #2 Posted November 30, 2021 Thread could be deleted. Sorry! I made a crazy mistake: Selected the wrong volume for the share. Write and read is fine with ~540 MB/s. Damn Sorry again!
0 pocopico Posted November 30, 2021 Share #3 Posted November 30, 2021 Depends on whether tests are sequential or random and the block size as well. Happy to see though that 540MB/s is possible through just 4 HDDs
