Trasfer Xpenology from N40L to N54L

Hi all, my secondary NAS being a HP N40L running DSM 6.2 dies (PSU failure), rather than hunting down another PSU i am pulling a N54L out of the cupbord and will use that., am i able able to transfer the USB stick and drives directly into the new maching with out issues?

 

The reason i ask is I know when installing Xpenology you had to specify the MAC address of your maching in the Grub file butr obviously the N54L MAC address will not match so i am unsure if this is a show stoppper
