System Partition Failed - but no Repair link in Overview

I stupidly forgot to shutdown a DSM VM before interrupting the NFS connection of the ESXi to the actual NAS where the VM is stored.

When the DSM VM came back up running the volume on the pool of 2 vmdks was still working, the data is still there, but:

the HDDs notify as: System Partition Failed, the infobox says I should click the repair link in the Overview page, but there is no such link, but there it says: Danger, Critical system errors occurred. Please contact Support..

I guess the copy of the DSM system that is put on each HDD is damaged somehow, but it is not able to fix this mirror on its own.

The system does not boot from these two vmdks, the DSM boots from a small vmdk where is only the system.

Is this actually a problem when using XPEnology?

Is it possible to fix this without damaging the pool on these two vmdks?

If so I would be happy about a pointer to a resource explaining how to fix it.
