ruffpl Posted February 6, 2016 Share #1 Posted February 6, 2016 Hi. Is there some aplication that can monitor S.M.A.R.T. or disk activity? I have hdds connected by pci sata controller (that support S.M.A.R.T.) but in DSM storage menagement it shows status of not supported/ only for 2 disks that are attached directly to mainboard I can view the S.M.A.R.T info. ruffpl Posted February 9, 2016 Author Share #6 Posted February 9, 2016 It is IBM m1015 ( LSI SAS2008 6 Gbps RAID on Chip (ROC) controller)
sbv3000 Posted February 9, 2016 Share #7 Posted February 9, 2016 have you set the raid mode to 'IT (initiator target)/jbod/dumb etc (ie no hardware raid?), that generally allows 'pass through' of disk information.
