questions about sata and m2 for 6.2.3

Hi, I am new to this xpenology. I am about to build a new nas with Jun's loader 1.04b 918. I am using mainboard gigabyte b360 ds2 with 6 sata ports and 1 m2.  

- In the config file, should I write sataportmap 6 or 7? 

- Can I use the m2 ssd as cache drive?  

- in case I need 4 more sata ports, which pic card will be supported?

- Sataportmap - use the defaults, at least until you get another SATA card

- M.2 can be used as cache if you use DS918+ platform and add the cache patch (search for it or follow links in my sig)

- Any AHCI compatible card is supported, as long as it does not have a SATA multiplexer.  Some use LSI controllers in "IT" (non-RAID) mode, but this is more expensive.

btw, I followed your posts and instructions ò using nvme patch and managed to get dsm recognize my ssd. unfortunately the dsm reported that version 6.2.3 didn't support my ssd. Do you have any hints? thanks
