30624700 Posted January 18, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 18, 2016 (edited) Running dsm5.2-5644.4 on vmware, it is noted that the login page is not redirecting to https no matter if the https chekbox is ticked or not. I have tried enabling hsts and spdy/3 but no luck. I realized the https services has started as I can manually type https to login, I recogn https redirecting used to work in the past (forgot which version) Did someone experiencing the same problem? brantje Posted January 18, 2016 Share #2 Posted January 18, 2016 Did you enable HSTS?
htc2010 Posted January 18, 2016 Share #3 Posted January 18, 2016 There are two separate locations in the Control Panel for enabling HTTPS. Are you using Control Panel -> Network -> DSM Settings or are you using Control Panel -> Web Services? If you enable redirect in the DSM Settings page, you should get a re-direct. If you enable it in Web Services, it will not affect the DSM login page.

brantje Posted January 19, 2016 Share #5 Posted January 19, 2016 You also should enable HSTS, under webservices (if you have a valid cert).
