Can you patch DSM version 7.0.1 42218-2?

I can not install 7.0.1 42218-0, I did fresh install using DS918+ 7.0.1 42218.pat and TinyCore and it automatically installs the 7.0.1 42218-2 instead of base 7.0.1 42218-0 image.

thank you.

Yes, please! I also need it!

thank you.

I check binary of 42218-2 from 'giannis' seems to be same sa 42218-0.

So, I just add version list.

thats a behavior of dsm itself not the loader, if you block internet access for your dsm system (router/firewall) and upload 7.0.1 42218-0 as file to your system then it can't automatically update and you should end with 7.0.1 42218-0

I'm not sure if you used tinycore. My router or firewall is not blocking anything related to DSM. I go through the process to create a loader for 7.0.1-42218-0 because tinycore only shows 7.0.1-42218-0 as the latest, download 7.0.1-42218-0 pat file from Synology, uploaded to DSM during the initial setup and after reboot, DSM show I have 7.0.1-42218-2.

when installing (fresh), dsm checks automatically if there is a update for the version you are installing and installs that too (without asking), you would see the same with jun's loader when using a 6.2.3 *.pat file, you end with 6.2.3 u3 after installing, if you look closer and count the reboots then you might see that there is one more reboot after the one from the initial pat file

blocking internet access for the system you are installing to will prevent the automatic check for a update and you will end with exactly the version you used as *.pat file

i guess it might also work to remove the network cable when uploading the *.pat file has been finished and then waiting for the install process to finish (hdd led stops blinking after about 10-15 minutes)

I think whether update uri is valid or not.

I hadn't realized that. Thank you.  If I'm doing it via a VM, would blocking synology.com be sufficient?

Awesome.... can hardly wait to try em out... if I can assist, I am willing!

Can you provide synocodectool for me?

It is at '/volumeX/@appstore/CodecPack/bin/synocodectool', where X is number (1, 2, 3, ...)

Please attach in replay
