andale Posted January 11, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 11, 2016 Hi. Since 5.2-5644.4 the SSD cache feature on all of my bare-metal systems became unusable. I've 3 different systems (C222, C224 & Z170), each with 2 additional SSD drives for R/W caches (each 2x512GB). The cache worked flawless until I upgraded to 5.2-5644.4. After the first reboot the system immediately encounters an error and unhooks all volumes. If I delete the cache everything is running normal. I also tried to delete the cache *before* the update and re-create it after the first reboot with no success.
zorrobyte137 Posted January 11, 2016 Share #2 Posted January 11, 2016 Read my post: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11010 Let me know if it works or what version of Xpenoboot works so I can document it!
andale Posted January 14, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted January 14, 2016 The suggested solution didn't work on any of the mentioned systems, even with a total "drive circus" (changed S-ATA/SAS ports for every drive in every possible combination) 5.2-5592 Update 4 works without any problems. 5.2-5644.4, 5.2-5644.4 Update 1 or 5.2-5644.4 Update 2 don't (I tried it with every version).
