Bhakta Posted January 4, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2016 I am looking for a HD Enclosure that is supported by Xpenology. I had an old Astone Dual Bay drive that works but it only supports drives up to 2TB. I want to use a 6TB 3.5" drive. Preferably I'd like to use something like this :http://www.vantecusa.com/en/product/view_detail/488. Does anyone have any experience?
fonix232 Posted January 4, 2016 Share #2 Posted January 4, 2016 Any enclosure that supports USB will work, but they will be considerably slower than SATAIII. You can also use eSATA if your controller is supported, and you have an eSATA port.
