Pieter2 Posted September 1, 2021 Share #1 Posted September 1, 2021 Hi all, Recently I suffered a power failure at home. This caused my XPNOLOGY NAS to shut down and afterwards no longer reachable in my (home)network. Connecting a monitor results in a screen with a blinking cursor in top left corner. What can I do to reboot or restart my NAS? Thank you in advance for your help.
0 billat29 Posted September 1, 2021 Share #2 Posted September 1, 2021 As a start, I would reboot the box and press DEL / F1 or whatever the box needs to enter the BIOS/UEFI screen. I would check that the options set are "reasonable", including the system time and then proceed to the boot options and make sure that it is set to boot from the USB device that your loader is on. If you then don't get the loader messages on your screen, I would post my hardware details, which version of the bootloader is in use and the version of DSM that you have installed.
