procsacs Posted July 27, 2021 Share #1 Posted July 27, 2021 (edited) Hello, i try install at last 7 days... DSM 6.1/2 on mobo intel D2500CC no visable on Synology Assistant, it's work without problem on 5.2 version. Spec : D2500CC (last bios 0040) Intel Atom D2500 Intel NM10 Express Dual Gigabit LAN Intel 82574L (Ven: 8086, Dev: 10D3 - 82574L) 4GB DDR 3 1066Mhz 2 Port SATA NM10/ICH7 + extra 4 Port SATA III Mini Pci-E SI-MPE40125 IO Crest (88SE9215 PCIe?) (4x4TB RED WD, but i try 4 another hard drivrs and SSD drivers) I try loaders (DS3615xs/DS3617xs) 1.01, 1.02, 1.02MBR, 1.03b and 1.04b but no one work for me ;/ I try mbr versions, i change files extra.lzma, zImage, rd.gz, different configurations i try UEFi off, on, one LAN ON, second LAN ON... loaders boot from USB at UEFi OFF, but find.synology.com , and Synology Assistant not see that mobo Intel D2500CC, i see the IP adress on me network , ping ok, but cannot entry form web. Of course i set VID/PID for USB stick, and MAC adress for one , or two LAN. I try another router, another PC and nothing ;/ I found one user on that intel mobo who success install DSM 6.2.2-24922 Update 4, on this TOPIC What i doo wrong ? Only one thing is suspect for me, USB stick (i try 3 different, and in USB-HDD, USB-FDD, UZB-ZIP mode) is visable in bios like hard drive, not removable drive, its that normal ? AlexChu Posted July 28, 2021 Share #2 Posted July 28, 2021 (edited) First: Disable the extra 4 Port SATA III Mini Pci-E SI-MPE40125 IO Crest (88SE9215 PCIe?). Second: In the BIOS, disconnect the second network card. Third: Write the address of the first network card in the MAC grab. Install bootloader DS3615xs - 1.03b. Install the system with one HDD connected to SATA Port NM10 / ICH7 Take a photo of the BIOS settings and send it to me through the file hosting service fex.net Unfortunately, I installed xpenology on the D2500CC for tests and system evaluation and later preinstalled on a more powerful system. But the board still remains, so I can try to raise it again. Edited July 28, 2021 by AlexChu
procsacs Posted July 28, 2021 Author Share #3 Posted July 28, 2021 (edited) Thank you for the answer, you managed to install it in THIS topic, as I understood correctly, you turned off the second network card, and turned on UEFi? Here is bios photo I try without 4 port SATA Mini Pci-E, but no positive result ;/ For test i connected one, or two empty hard disk, no success. On loader 1.03b (DS3615xs) I can see IP adress on network, but no work form WEB, or synology assistance. AlexChu Posted July 28, 2021 Share #4 Posted July 28, 2021 Is the SSD kingston empty? Delete the partitions on it. It is very strange that you see the IP on the network but the web does not work. Scan your network with the program scaner and show the screen.
procsacs Posted July 28, 2021 Author Share #5 Posted July 28, 2021 (edited) Disk empty, no partition i try 4 different HDD and SDD, GPT, MBR etc... photo from IP and PING in THIS topic, you turned off the second network card, and turned ON UEFi? AlexChu Posted August 2, 2021 Share #9 Posted August 2, 2021 I tried to install version 3615 on the D2500CC board, but I got the same picture as yours: the ip is lit on the network but it can't connect. I could not remember the correct boot parameters. The minimum version for this MiniDLNA is 6.2.4-0000, you have 6.2.2 installed
procsacs Posted August 2, 2021 Author Share #10 Posted August 2, 2021 (edited) hmm interesing it's just a BIOS setup ? Or you change something in img file ? MiniDLNA work in old DSM version, but you need good version of MiniDLNA (platform version) i get for DS1019+ and work of in DSM 6.2.2. I am currently using at DS1019+ version, but I don't know how reliable the system is, it doesn't install updates. It's work ok.
