after a 6.2 esxi install i get a blank page

following https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/41562-tutorial-dsm-62x-ds918-104b-on-vmware-esxi-7/ i'm able to get the syno assistant to find the dsm, and then install onto a number of drives. i get the countdown and then afterwards when i hit the ip:port there is a blank page. DSM is doing something, and i see this in view source:

i'm not sure if the install is broken or there is some weird http thing going on so any advice would be appreciated

You can't run anything newer than DSM 6.2.3, sounds like you're trying to run DSM 6.2.4 which won't work.

nope, it was DSM 6.2.3-25426, a couple reboots and poking at it started working. i think it had to do with browsers not wanting to load JS from as it just worked in safari
