Inel 945G ICH7R, Adaptec 6805E supported?

I've got an old machine with this chipset intel 945G ICH7R

 

Does anyone know which XPE DSM version works with that chipset?

 

if the XPE DSM can not use the ICH7, can I use a supported RAID card like some Adaptec 6805E or LSI MegaRAID (Lenovo 500) cards in the system to handle the hard drives?

 

I know the LSI MegaRAID are supported, but I couldn't find any info on Adaptec 6000 series.
