Root Access on HP Microserver Gen7

Can anyone help me with getting into the Root Directory of DSM5.2 on the microserver.

 

Try to connect using FTP and get the following error

 

530 User root access denied

 

username: root

Pass: admin (default for admin)

 

Can login using FTP with the default Admin account.

FTP as root is usually not allowed. FTP somewhere else then SSH in and move/copy the files or use SCP (WinSCP?) rather than FTP.
