grumly Posted July 2, 2013 Share #1 Posted July 2, 2013 Hello One mont ago, I build a Xpenology PC with an old PC. Now I have some hardware malfunction, hopefully it will be only the PSU... but maybe it's the motherboard. anyway, if I change my motherboard ans CPU but still use the same USB key to boot ans same array of 6 HDD in RaidSHR, do you think I will have access to my volume without any trouble? totalnas Posted July 2, 2013 Share #2 Posted July 2, 2013 Sure! Moreover: If you boot a recent Linux LiveCD (like Ubuntu) with all disks connected from a Synoly (aka XPEnology) unit, all volumes are automatically mounted at boot. SHR volumes are simple LVM over Linux-RAID.
