dsm 6.2 (latest) and minimum system hardware or CPU ?

Question

hi guys,

Which cpu is the minimum to run dsm 6.2.x ??

i have a desktop computer with 2GB Ram a core2duo and 2 1.5tb drives in JBOD mode, runs on dsm 5.2, and the 3615XS.

But i am looking for something stronger and with the latest or almost latest dsm to run mysql for joomla, which a can't get it to run on dsm 5.2.

Oh and can i migrate the drives directly to the new system without data losses ??

Hmm this info confuses me.

Why ? Because nothing else worked,  except the 3615xs dsm5.2 on my current system with the c2d cpu..  Info says it can run 6.x but my system does not take it…

for now i found out the network card is the problem... the newer dsm versions does not support the network card.

it is a pci card, so i can swap that out for something it does support on the later dsm versions.

Which one should i get for it to get the dsm 6.x or later to work ??
