fatherbear Posted August 22, 2015 Share #1 Posted August 22, 2015 Hi all, I'm running everything on a HP proliant microserver gen8 and the boot image on a usb that is plugged into the internal usb port. Everything is working except "power schedule" that can be found in "hardware & power". I've setup so that the server will shutdown a specific time on the night and then startup a specific time in the morning. The problem is that when it shutting down it seems that it unmounts the usb driver and when it starts up it can't find it so it tries to boot from the "nas disks". If I manually shutdown the server from the button and then start it up again from the button then it works. Does any one know why the power schedule feature does this and can it be fix? sbv3000 Posted August 22, 2015 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2015 you could try the syno advanced power manager utility http://sourceforge.net/projects/advpowermgr4ds/ or maybe edit your synoinfo.conf settings to remove the usb from being 'seen' by DSM, there are several posts here about how to do that that
