SnowDrifter Posted February 3, 2021 Share #1 Posted February 3, 2021 Hey all Docker is making my head spin. Trying to set up delugeVPN but I can't get to the web UI. Getting a connection was reset error when going to nas.local:32807 (the local port assigned to container port 8112). Trying to go to port 8112 results in a page unable to connect error. Where am I going wrong? Let me know what information I can provide, I don't even know what to include here.
flyride Posted February 3, 2021 Share #2 Posted February 3, 2021 Is there a reason not to have your local port match the container port? Only reason to change them is if you already have a service on those ports, which is unlikely.
SnowDrifter Posted February 3, 2021 Author Share #3 Posted February 3, 2021 Just whatever 'auto' set it to. Changed them so they match, no change in behavior
flyride Posted February 3, 2021 Share #4 Posted February 3, 2021 The local port is what your browser will connect to. Are you using bridge mode for the container?
SnowDrifter Posted February 3, 2021 Author Share #5 Posted February 3, 2021 Got it sorted The tun adapter script thing wouldn't work. The fix was to install VPN from the synology app store. Then run the script. Then it seems to work OK
