Create .img file dd if=/dev/sdx of=[filename].img Where x is the device address of your USB stick and [filename] is what you choose. 2. I changed from doing that as I ended up (being me) with so many files called synoboot.img where I didn't know which version they were or whether it was the one that I had modified or not.
